Benefits of Stainless Steel Valve Stems
Corrosion resistance
Unlike brass (which oxidizes over time) or plastic/rubber compounds (that dry out, surgical-grade 304 stainless steel resists rust even when exposed to road salts, rainwater, tire sealants, and high humidity.
Temperature stability
Tire temperatures can exceed 150°F (65°C) during sustained riding. Rubber becomes pliable at these levelsleading to slow leaksand eventually cracks from repeated flexing. Stainless remains rigid without degrading.


Mechanical strength
Conventional OEM rubber valve stems can be susceptible to bending, cracking, or accidental damage during routine tire maintenance, such as pressure checks or air chuck installation.
