ITT's business operations span the full spectrum of applications, from routine fluid handling to operations in extreme environments. This places comprehensive, multi-dimensional extreme performance requirements on the ball – the core component of a ball valve – while also fully validating TongBall Valve's end-to-end engineering solution capabilities across all operating scenarios. In the face of multi-media corrosion resistance challenges, our products must adapt to vastly diverse operating conditions, ranging from municipal wastewater and sour oil and gas to high-temperature steam and highly aggressive chemical media. This imposes near-exacting, industry-leading standards for the science-driven material selection of balls, corrosion resistance performance, and long-term operational stability.

For stability in extreme environments, our products must retain uncompromised geometric precision and sealing integrity under the harshest conditions-including ultra-high deep-sea pressures, polar cryogenic temperatures as low as -196°C, and the high-temperature, high-pressure environments of nuclear power applications-while delivering a service life many times longer than that of products built for standard operating conditions. To meet ultra-high precision assembly requirements and perfectly match the superior modular design of ITT's valves, we hold the assembly clearance between the ball, seat and stem to a tight tolerance of ≤ 0.005mm, fully guaranteeing the ultimate sealing performance and responsive, reliable actuation of the finished valve. Within ITT's rigorous, globally standardized supplier performance evaluation system, TongBall Valve has delivered outstanding results backed by exceptional manufacturing consistency: we maintain an average annual batch acceptance rate of 99.96%, and our on-time delivery (OTD) performance has consistently exceeded 99%.
